Yesterday, Thursday, September 18, 2025, Ambassador Mounir Bourouba presented his Letters of Credence to the President of the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe, Mr. Carlos Manuel Vila Nova.
The ceremony took place in the Honor Hall of the People’s Palace, in the presence of the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Communities, Ms. Ilza Maria dos Santos Amado Vaz, and the Diplomatic Advisor to the Presidency of the Republic, Mr. Luís de Oliveira Viegas.
Both parties underlined the excellence of the bonds of friendship and cooperation between Algeria and São Tomé and Príncipe, as well as the importance of continuing to raise them to more advanced levels, in line with the aspirations of the two brotherly countries and reflecting the depth of their historical relations.
